Here is a photo of one of the oldest radio diagrams

Just think cars batteries, The coil from a car, some bare wire wrapped around a set of chair legs, couple of bottles. This is making it super simple
Shit so easy a boy scout could build one

I built a radio out of a kit I bought from Radio Shack. I mounted it inside a little cabinet. I think I still have it around here. I mounted a telegraph key on top of the cabinet and used the radio oscillator to make a tone. I used this to practice morse code.
I had the same kit, I used that to teach me Morse Code
I built a AM crystal radio just from household items and some wire and earphone to hear it

That is neat. But out of all that stuff. I only have batteries in my place
It won’t be long before we will need to know how to do that again ‼️
Hint, buy double edge razor blades, some paper clips, and a some pencils
you be able to hear radio frequency, but you won't be able to transmit. But you would be able to hear them coming
needs no batteries
here is a newer version of the same thing
LOL! Some of us were NEVER boy scouts!
Great post.
Thank You
I recently downloaded an MIT pdf about how to make a synthetic aperture radar for about $200.
Awesome
Make a deathray instead and I'll be impressed.
