When saying a series of numbers aloud, how do you pronounce 0?

Since I work in customer service, I say “zero.” To me, it just sounds more professional.

like the Since often key codes will have numbers and letters I have always called 0 zero…. The letter O like “oh”. Otherwise it gets confusing.

Did you know that when the military fires a missile, they say 7 6 .. 4 3 2 1 fire. They don't say the number 5 because it sounds too much like fire, which could launch prematurely.
