Can someone help me to unfreeze my android phone?

I don't know where else to ask. I did ask Google, but no further steps were provided and it didn't solve my problem.

Earlier today, my phone had started to act up. When my mother was trying to use my phone to call someone, she couldn't pull up the dial pad during the call. I tried hanging up the call, but my phone seemed frozen. The only thing that wasn't frozen, was the number of seconds and minutes on the call. I had restart my phone, trying to see if it'll act right, but it didn't. So I restarted my phone two more times and it's still frozen. The only thing that seems to be working, is the time.

Soft reset for android is pushing louder and off switch for 10 seconds.

This will restart phone and tablets in cases nothing else works.

No it doesn't.
You only wrote you restarted it. Which is different from a reset.

When my phone started doing that I just restarted it and it worked fine. It happened to me when I had my last phone. I've since gotten a new phone and I haven't had any problems

I had the same happen to my phone and Tmobile had to replace it.

Take it to your cell provider. If they can’t help call the maker of the phone. Good luck 👍🙂

Have you tried pulling out the battery for 10 seconds and then putting it back in?

I don't have the phone that you can just pull/snap the back off. I have a smartphone.

I don't believe my smartphone can easily open the back. Kind of looks like it, but I'll let a professional do that since I wouldn't know what I'm doing.

I can't turn it off, only reset it because I cannot touch the reset button.

The only way to power it off, if I hold the down volume button and "power" button at the same time in order for the reset, power off and emergency contact to pop up. I cannot touch any of the buttons on the screen due to my phone being frozen. The only method there is, is to hold the down volume button and "power" button until my screen goes black to reset it. The "power" button for some reason is under a new feature where you cannot power your phone off by that button.

It's possible that the screen itself might be burned out and it's the screen that's broken

Not sure. Calls and alarms still pop up, but I cannot answer nor dismiss them because I am unable to press any button on my screen.
