The answer about birth of universe is about its death. In hundreds or thousands billions of years when most baryonic matter fuses into iron* and heavier element, everything will cool down, becomes dark and expansions stops. I guess our universe collapses again into for us incomprehensible state of matter and time-spece until it explodes again. Our universe is just a bubble of dirt in much bigger structure build of dark matter and dark energy.
*fusion to iron is the last nuclear fusion with positive energy balance.

The universe always existed everywhere, and there isn't a difference between reality and a simulation, as anything simulated would need to be simulated within a reality, and the simulation itself would also be part of reality, so really its like saying "is reality reality? Or is it reality?"
Nothingness never existed, god never existed, and the begining of time never existed.
Quantum mechanics and relativity are both wrong, as they contradict eachother, and some parts of each are false, such as objects being in 2 places at once, the observer effect, or time being a force or relative.
Time always existed because time is just how we measure objects moving in space, and there were always objects moving in space.
Weither it was a big bang or something else, it doesn't exclude God, nothing science proves can disprove the existence of God and I'll tell you why, because science is just knowledge on what's already created and what's already within our universe, using logical and physics that's already here, the big question remains with or without science, what was the cause of that effect, we and science have a speculation of the effects and the possible ways it might have occurred but we don't have the cause and no matter how you put it, the cause of the universe, is a god, after all nothing really happens by itself and science can prove that so the best hypothesis on the universe is that a god mist have been the cause of our universe.
Now what people want to believe is something else, I believe the God from Christianity created everything, whatever created our universe is God, it's just not logical or possible for the universe to create itself
Our view of the universe is finite because we are finite beings. We are but a flash in the pan. It takes science years to understand anything, and then they find out what they thought was not true. So they come up with new theories. As far as we know, we might be just electrical sparks in a ginormous video game. Since God is eternal, maybe he got bored and made the universe. For all we know he has many more. No way for us to know.
"Began"? You see a glass of water, and you wonder where the water came from, since you know glasses aren't made with water in them. This is also why you don't see an empty glass and ask where the water is.
You don't know that about the creation of the universe. It's only a question- well, only such an important question- because you assume that "nothing" is more natural than "something"; that existence can only happen as the result of action, conscious or otherwise.
We humans are too stupid to even scratch the surface, it's all a bunch of unproven speculation bullshit. Not as bad as people thinking they know what happens after we die, but almost. A bunch of math on paper doesn't prove anything because we are basing it on what we know, and we know approximately jack shit. Unless we find a way to live and evolve for another million years, we are going to be extinct before we figure out anything.
@bingbongbangbung are you struggling with reading comprehension? I said people who believe they know what happens after they die are worse than people who think they know how the universe was created. Both are fools.

i lov this question i think about this!
1, possible. 2, false, thermodynamics does not allow that. and virtual wouldnot help. 3 false universe is whatever billion years old. 4, false by deduction can reach a conclusion. 5, that is matrix fiction, and even in matrix needed an architect! 6, despite true needs a cause.
logic proved god is not only possible but more plausible.
A question that has plagued humanity since we developed the ability to ponder.
You have Earth. As you leave Earth, you pass through our atmosphere. Outside of our atmosphere is lower earth orbit. Then you pass beyond that. Then beyond the moon or Mars. Eventually you will leave our solar system. Then into deep space. Beyond that through the Milky Way. After that, deep, deep space. But we will continue to chase the edge of the universe.
Those are all valid theories. I personally believe God created the laws of physics and quantum mechanics and those laws in turn allowed the Big Bang to happen.
@Agagagagaga It didn't "get" anywhere. Energy/matter always existed everywhere, it is the default state of existence as a whole, it IS the entire universe, even in "empty" space.
One theory I like is called the big bounce. Essentially it's a cycle of big bang followed by an eventual collapse and another bang. Basically neverending expansion and contraction

Someone had a near death experience. They said the big bang is part of the explanation of how it was made. They said God breathed out n made universes. He breathed in n destroyed universes. One part of his NDE seemed fake when he said he talked 2 two beings though. Someone else said so 2.
B4 reading this I thought the big bang n God had made it like that n now still think God made it somehow.
In case I wasn't clear enough. My stance is that the universe was always there. When people say "god was always there" I think to myself "we can skip this part and simply conclude, that the universe was always there".
Feels weird to name the universe god when it already has the name universe and thats more descriptive of it, but names aside, you're not wrong, the universe was always there.
