Dose anyone use chatGPT and do you think it's good?

People keep sending me obvious AI written response, or AI written material and it’s kinda getting annoying especially when the person won’t admit it. So I don’t think it’s bad I think it all depends how you use it. Writing is a skill many people craft and I don't know AI is threatening that I guess.

Quite a bit, and it's really there to reduce work load. It's not 100% but some help is better than none.

Nope. Right now kids are using it to cheat. Live by it, die by it. I feel it will rob us of personality and infantilize us. Imagine walking around obeying this thing constantly. Extemporaneous speech and improvisation will atrophy. What’s worse, those who are truly exceptional will be indistinguishable from a sea of bots. It will be an interpersonal shock when they DO meet in person. It’s sad that we may come to rely on these things to check for human authenticity. The tragedy would be that humans used to define what it meant to be human.

On the upside, it will be fun to watch AI bots interact with each other.

I use it regularly for programming and my job. Its really good. I think its the best tool invented in last 10 years.

I guess students can use it to help pass tests. I asked it to write this limerick, and it spit it out in about 3 seconds.

In fields where the colors are trippy,
Lived a free-spirited, wild hippie.
With flowers in hair,
Spreading peace through the air,
Their vibe was both groovy and zippy!

Other than that, I'm not sure what it's good for. However, there is a moron on here that accuses most everyone of being a "bot." It just doesn't work like that.

It was totally written by artificial intelligence. No human could spit that out in 3 seconds.

Go to the chat GPT website and just give them any email address.
Then you can experiment with it for free. I think they have a more advanced version but you have to pay a subscription fee.

I was just talking to a member of this site. We were talking about wagyu steak.

So I just asked Chat GPT to write a limerick about it. It probably took about 1.5 seconds.

A wagyu steak sizzles, awake. Marbled delight, tender and fine, On my plate, a treasure to dine, A feast fit for kings we partake.
