Have you own a Walkman?

I owned a couple of models of cassette Walkman, at least 4 models of CD Diskman, several MiniDisc players, and I currently have a digital Walkman.

My favorite cassette Walkman was the WM-20, which was a refinement of the WM-10. Both of these models were the same size as a cassette case when empty - you had to expand it a bit to put a cassette inside. These used a single AA battery. In their day, these were absolutely marvels of miniaturization while retaining incredible quality.

Likewise, my D-25 Discman was smaller than 2 CD cases stacked on top of each other. This thing had all-metal construction and the build quality was spectacular - miles better than all of the plastic models that would soon replace these early models. Unfortunately, the tech wasn't quite up to speed. These early players - just like early home models, only did 14-bit (rather than 16 bit) rendering of the audio, because 16 bit processing just wasn't affordable in 1986, nor did it have low-enough power requirements to run off of a battery. And needless to say, there was no CD TEXT and no "shock-proof" read-ahead memory that later models would have. But even with those flaws, this thing gave 20 years of service with nearly zero problems.
I did eventually get a newer model with CD Text, read-ahead memory, and optical output, but it was all plastic and wasn't nearly as tough.
Today, I literally carry my entire music collection (over 60,000 songs) on a micro-SD card, with a full copy in my Walkman and another copy in my phone. The Walkman is important to me in that I use it for weddings and other pro performances and I need something that is JUST a music player - no network, no apps, no notifications, just music, with no interruptions.
Never an actual Sony-branded Walkman, but I had one by Panasonic and another one by Aiwa. I did have a Sony Discman though.
Oh wow, I haven't seen one of those in YEARS! I personally didn't, but my siblings did, along with a boombox, recorder... yeah, showing our ages, lol

Yes, I have not used it in years but I imagine that it still works.
Yes, I had two Sony Sport walkmen. The old yellow-ones which were supposed to be water resistant.

At one point I had one, but it broke a long time ago and I barely used it.
