#electric vehicles suck. They are technological downgrades instead of up from the way it was. Impractical, polluting and killing children to mine the kobalt used in them. Why would you wanne kill time waiting at gas stations or electric recharge stations to fuel your car back up when going on a roadtrip. It's a waste of time isn't it? Nobody should want that especially not these times when energy bills are rising day by day.

Driving electric cars is car traveling suicide if you ask me. But everyone not agreeing with me is going to find out the hard way in a few years time guaranteed. Solar panels, electric cars they are all scams on a global scale because eventually electric bills will skyrocket to make it just as expensive and environmental just as pollutant as gas driven cars are right now.

Burning oil bad for your health but sitting on a massive car battery isn't exactly safe either. Toxic and dangerous things are batteries. Let's get rid of them instead of increasing them.

Driving electric isn't going green to protect our environment, it's a nasty scam they tricked you in believing you are helping our planet get cleaner but the only things being green is the profits that power plants make

I wouldn't buy one because:

A. If you care about C02 emissions, you're only exporting the emissions to another location. (The coal fueled power plant.)

B. No batter cost 20k. For a Prius you can get a third party batter that might run you from a few hundred, to 4k. They do the same job, if not better. Unfortunately, Tesla has software that refuses to let the car work if you replace the battery yourself. Even with their own batter. Therefore, its not your car. This point if furthered under D.

C. My car is my car. There are no subscriptions. If I cannot drive to the full range of the car because I didn't pay for a subscription, its not my car.

D. Not allowed to look under the hood. No. This doesn't fly with me. If its mine because I bought it, then I can do with it whatever the hell I want. In the U. S. we have a 4th amendment. That means we can do whatever the hell we want with the property we own, within the legal limits of the law.

These cars are a scam.

I had a Prius hybrid several years ago. At some point, it started to malfunction and the dealer said it needed a new hybrid battery. The cost with installation was over $3000 but the dealer said the warranty went up to 150,000 miles and my car had 149,000, so it didn't cost me anything.

Nevertheless, I kind of soured on the idea of battery power. And after reading a lot about all electric vehicles over the past couple years, I think they are a scam. The entire reasoning for them is a scam.

No I would not buy an electric car knowing that only warranty their drive train which includes the battery packs for (120,000 to 150,000 miles (roughly 10 years) Where a properly maintained ICE engined car can easily do 3 times that and if the drive train had a major problem (engine failure) it could be repaired way more economically.
If I DID own a Tesla or another EV and it was out of warranty and the battery pack failed I'd find a 3rd party company that does Tesla 2nd hand or rebuilt battery packs like the story below;

Before I buy any vehicle I do extensive research on vehicle specs, reliability, Total cost of ownership, resale value and owner satisfaction. I would have known about the batteries long before I bought the vehicle and would never buy something with such a big downside. Besides that I would not want to pollute the environment by dumping a dead battery by the side of the road.

Why the fuck would I want a shitty Tesla when I can have a Porsche Taycan instead?

Also, Tesla battery costs are closer to 5k and it's between 4-6 years depending on mileage and drive.

The cost of electric is still CHEAPER than diesel or petrol, provided you're not doing excessive miles. Also, there is no "engine" to fail and the mechanical cost is negligible. So you save on those costs as well.

Lastly it's better to lease electric, than buy outright.

But currently there are many other factors preventing me from buying an electric car. Primaraly, i don't have the money to buy any car and the lack of charging stations.

I've actually looked into this EV batteries replacement vary wildly. It could cost you from 2k to 15k. And one thing you gotta keep in mind is just like regular battery as battery ages it holds a charge shorter and shorter. One advantage to some electrics like the Nissan leaf though. You can actually check the life of the battery, not just the charge.

I wouldn’t own a Tesla.. or an EV at all for that matter. I park outside and I’m not getting myself in heavy debt for 8 years for a vehicle that can’t tow a trailer 400 miles in sub-zero temps. It would be more of a liability for my lifestyle.
