I’m going to Mexico next week, do they use the same outlets types in Mexico that they use in Canada?

I don't know, never been there. If they don't you can always buy a charger there to fit their outlets

According to Google, they use the same type of outlets but they are not polarized. That means the hot and neutral holes are the same size. If the prongs on your devices are different sizes you will need an adapter

That’s my understanding also. Generally you could always bring a powerbank. That should get you through the week.

As long as you don't mind waiting, many things have a simple USB socket that can be used to charge your phone as long as you've got a simple cable. Hotels (and trains) often have USB A sockets, failing that, most TVs, etc.

Besides, a charger is really cheap.
