Are dating apps ever going to crack down on women pushing IG or worse OF?

***Disclaimer if you don’t use dating apps good for you. But don’t waste your time criticizing me if I choose to use them.***

Anyways nowadays I will always swipe left a girl puts up a IG link or worse a Snapchat link (100% of the time they do OF) in her profile no matter how hot she is. Even if her IG profile is innocuous she is still willing to share that with thousands of randos. She just wants more followers and likes out of typical modern woman insecurity. Even if she is real that’s a giant waste of time.

So when are dating apps finally going to crack down on this?

I’ve noticed that these apps have gotten much worse over the years. Yes I know the logical answer is to quit them. But still it isn’t that simple given my life situation right now. I work two jobs and don’t have much free time.

But these apps push all sorts of other bullshit including very bias political messaging. That doesn’t mean I want the opposite with that. But a dating app should just be a f*cking dating app. They should be focusing on making sure there are real people on it.

but i don’t know what you mean about influencers and political messaging. perhaps you’re using the wrong app. i don’t get that impression

as frustrating as they are, it takes some experience, a lot of patience, and good old fashioned thick skin to have a productive and non-cringy time with online dating

I don’t use dating apps but I’d be annoyed by this too. Unfortunately dating apps are likely benefiting from their users linking other social platforms (especially OF) so they won’t do anything about it. This is going to make finding normal people even more difficult. You may need to meet people at offline social events instead. Best of luck to you.

And yes men do enable that. But women aren’t ”blameless” for setting up those bullshit scams to begin with. Sure men are idiots for supporting that crap. Not justifying that stupidity.

However these women are exploiting vulnerable men. Society really does have a much higher “buyer beware” standard for men than it does for women. The dating apps don’t give a crap about men getting taken in these scams.

I figure you will never agree with that. But people wonder why men are so cynical about our culture nowadays and this just one example. Also any woman using her body to make money is NOT by any means necessary helping with “gender equality”. Fuck no.

It would be one thing if I came across a OF girl in maybe one out of 100 swipes. But they are now literally 1 in 5. Not exaggerating.

Just two days ago I started up a convo with a girl who was seemingly legit. She had no social media links or anything in her profile. She seemed genuinely interested in my hobbies.

I then sent her my number asking if she would like to talk. She said she didn’t give out number online so she gave me her Snapchat link. Since we chatted for a while earlier about legit subjects I though I give it a chance. And as it turns out she was a OF pos and was trying to market her bullshit. I told her I hated OF and blocked her asap.

But she is not an isolated incident. Another fake profile did the same thing to me with an attempted Bitcoin scam two weeks ago. She (or whoever put up the scam) had a very convincing profile with genuine normal looking pictures. No talk about sexual stuff. She texted me from a USA mobile number. We talked for a while but the red alarm went off when she said out of no where “hey I can help you make money with Bitcoin”.

I also had another girl text me and straight up ask for money three weeks ago. Not OF but she claimed she needed to “pay her phone bill”. Of course I told her to piss off.

Now you are probably going to say “why waste your time on dating apps” and you are right. In fact I just deleted one of them. But these things have from bad to worse lately and NOBODY cares about what men think. Its buyer beware for western men in modern times. These dating app companies figure men are desperate and lonely enough to tolerate a continuous sess pool. Some are. But I have hit a breaking point. Not giving them one more cent of my money.

Statistically there are a lot more men on dating apps than women. So these apps will let this bs go on to give a false impression that the gender ratio isn’t so bad. It’s messed up.

They do have reporting options but still nobody is actively monitoring these profiles until they get reported. They don’t care.

At least have a strict rule that no links to social media are allowed in the profiles OR in the first 10 back and forth DM’s (some people do initially connect on IG after some legit discussion.

So sick of it.

I figure. But lots of dating apps went far woke in recent years. They had to lose some business from that crap. The figured that would bring more women on and men would tolerate that bs. But men do finally get sick of it.
