Do you think dating apps have made women more judgmental in the dating world than they san afford to be to the point of self sabotage?

You can't blame dating apps for all that, social media do more damage than them. Combine that with modern feminism and dating apps which are designed for failure. All three causes this and neither is completely to blame but neither is innocent.

Who do you think place all idiotic ideas in the head of women. They don't magically appear. And no dating apps aren't necessarily social media, tinder is social media that is used for dating. But dating is a secondary feature. If you go to a pure dating app it won't count as social media since you will only communicate with people you match with. You don't have friends or followers and stuff like that.

No, the ones you pick are picky. Because they can be. They are the popular ones.

I don’t pick anyone, I’m not on any apps, haven’t been and currently in a relationship. I’m just talking about this view in general and it’s super biased. You think the guys (not all, but a good amount) aren’t picky as the women you describe? They absolutely are and that is self sabotage as well.

There are plenty of statistics which show the average woman gets hundreds of matches and the average man gets no matches.

Even if women got more matches, how many of those are actually valid and not bots, or men eager to just send something sexual? Rarely do the matches ever lead anywhere and soon as they get some sort of traction, majority of women panic because they fear doing the wrong thing and the guy ghosting them. Spend a little time perusing this site and you’ll see countless posts of women in that position. For a lot of men when they aren’t getting matches it’s because of the sort of women they are going after. Virtual dating gives people the platform to be very selective, and 9/10 that guy trying to match with a woman is choosing a very fit and beautiful woman. Women tend to be way less shallow but the success rate in online dating is trash.

That’s because women go for the same types of good looking guys who get lots of matches. So of course he’ll be picky. Guys on average get 0 matches despite swiping right on literally everyone.

Dude, that is not reality, it’s your biased perception to substantiate how it’s sooo hard for a man vs a woman. Not every woman is going after the sort of man you believe is most desirable. A lot of women actually adjust their standards just to connect with a guy who is at least decent looking. Not to mention how men can date for substantially longer and have children later in life. Women have this shortened period to find a life partner and have their own children. This makes dating harder on women as this puts pressure on them and makes them accept a lot more rubbish from men out of FOMO.

Sometimes yes, most times no. Like I said, a slight perusal of this site will only prove my point here. Far too often you see the woman who gave the not so attractive, too short, etc guy a chance and he did her just as dirty as someone who would’ve been more in line with the man she goes for.

Absolutely. I wouldn’t categorize all unattractive men as having that motive — I wouldn’t put all men under the umbrella of any specific stigma. But on numerous occasions I’ve heard of and seen (through friends profiles whilst with them. Keep in mind I haven’t used any apps) all sorts of unattractive men eager to jump right into sexting. I’ve even seen these men directly send an unwarranted dick pic.

Those guys probably still get quite a few matches. I’d say the average ones who don’t get any matches aren’t like that.
