Girls have so many guys messaging them that they have a hard time keeping guys straight or even to do contacting others them self. They also may be communicating with a dozen guys while most men only have one or two unless they are really hot.

Though I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "the upper hand", women generally have more advantages than men in dating by any means. Internet dating sites and apps are no exception.

Dont care about the males that much
Media always talks about how we are objecting women but they never talk how they do
I mean that from being flirty to get free stuff to throwing someone out just because they are smaller or fatter then they would like

Womens are looking always on the cover and then crying cuz its a bad guy
If they are hot they always have the power to just kick out of the list everyone who is not as skinny or rich or good looking as they want
On the other end males are pushed to date the lower standart by society
If they dont they will be hated
We are told to not look on the cover but girls only do that

Hell yes... especially apps like POF women get spammed with hundreds of messages from guys... and guys are lucky to get even 1 or 2 replies LOL a lot of women on online dating apps tend to be extremely picky you must be a certain skin color, must make a certain amount of money, a certain height, you can't just say hi you gotta make a whole damn paragraph lol

Definitely, one of my female friends told me that in under a week she got 1k+ likes on tinder and something like 100 messages. As a straight male on tinder it took me two months to get 180ish matches and only about 20% messaged first.

Women have more options in all forms of dating. A woman might receive 10 messages a day on a dating app whereas most men will be extremely lucky if they receive one.
