Probably because men are very visual so if they see a woman they like they will try to approach her. On the other hand women can be unaffected by men's looks so men are trying to prove they are good enough for her and she gets to choose. Plus many if not most women can be attracted to other women so women have more options than men do

It obviously is. Women are the gatekeepers of both dating and sex. Men are only the gatekeepers of marriage, because no man has to say yes to marrying her, and marriage pretty much only benefits women (and her children), as well. Not to mention, weddings only being for women.

Women have the upper hand when trying only for casual sex, but men have the upper hand for a relationship. Well, the upper percent of men do and you get many more women to choose from because the majority of women go for a small percentage of men.

In general, I'd say so, but I do think that a lot of womens 'options' consist of guys they don't want, so they don't have as many as they think.
