What do you think are some QOL technologies or items that if they instantly vanished, would cause society to lose their minds?

Cars, phones, electricity, natural gas.


If any of those vanish…. Holy shit

The big one is trucks. Get rid of the military, and we'd be invaded in a matter of weeks. Get rid of the water grid, and we'd be dying in a matter of days. Take out the trucking industry, and we'd be at each other's throats (literally) in less then 72 hours.

Of course, that level of transportation could eventually be replaced by other vehicles, but nowhere near as efficiently.
