Really depends on the game and resolution, but most high end games should have no trouble running at 1080-1440p. FYI listing your CPU and GPU is helpful. 32 gigs of ram isn't going to do nothing for gaming, if it's paired with a low end CPU and GPU.

You should be able to play just about anything. Maybe not at max settings with a huge monitor with high resolution and refresh. But you should be able to play almost anything.
As far as Ram, no matter how much you have, some games will eat it up if it's available. But that doesn't mean you need it.
