I didn’t even know there was an issue until i just hung up on an app call. So yea apparently lots of AT&T towers are down mainly throughout the south. You can’t call nor text (unless you imessage or yse an app like discord, whatsapp, etc.) Its gonna suck not to be able to blow up my moms phone with bothersome texts all day. I’m banned from Twitter for 12 hours and I don’t even know why. Works gonna be a bore 😭😩 #FeelFreeToList

Apparently Tmobile is down as well. But Tmobile has always had shitty service so thats not surprising. Verizon is the best with their expensive ass. Anyways, if you’re dealing with these issues, go imessage or get on whatsapp or discord or some other voice app to connect with your friends loved ones 🙏

So apparently it was nationwide with the list saying NY, LA (Cali), TX, OK, KN, MS, GA, TN, HI, NC, SC, WN, and MI were all affected. My phone just stopped saying SOS only a few mins ago so ig we’re good to go now

Wow that is crazy about the AT&T outage! I've been having some issues with my phone lately too actually. I'm on Boost Mobile instead of Verizon, so my service has never been the greatest to begin with. When I heard that AT&T towers were going down all over the south, I was kinda worried mine might go out too.

Luckily so far everything has been okay for me. But there was one time earlier when I tried to load a page on Instagram and it just kept saying no connection. That got me nervous that maybe Boost was having problems too. I'm normally able to get by with texting and stuff most of the time, but an actual outage would totally suck.

It's good the AT&T issues seem to be fixed now at least. Cell companies really need to improve their networks so huge areas don't lose service like that. Boost can already be spotty sometimes as it is. I definitely couldn't go 12 hours without Twitter either, that ban would drive me crazy. At least there's apps like WhatsApp to fall back on for messaging people when the cell towers go down. Hopefully no more problems for now though, outages are the worst!

Unfortunately outages happen & although I don’t have AT&T & I wasn’t affected I have been in the past with another network. During a past outage I was totally fine & used a backup communications system. Nowadays if my cellular service sucks I switch to wifi calling & I’m usually ok especially during a hurricane.

When outages happen I laugh in most circumstances & I love when people go insane especially when they can’t text or go on the internet.

Yes i was wondering why my google maps aren't working but i guess there was an outage. Luckily it was only down for a few minutes for me maybe it was before that but i wasn't using my phone before so i did not notice until i was gonna drive somewhere.

No, but I avoid AT&T like the plague, whether it's phone or internet. They're usually about 5 years behind the times technologically speaking, usually more costly, and usually give poor service. I'm on T-Mobile and like them a lot.

They don't call it that, but after a decade of subsidising people to get solar so they didn't have to build new power stations they realised that households with solar weren't paying for electricity. And the law here means domestic generation excess of what the home needs can't be sold back to the national supply the way it can in other, less corrupt and more intelligent countries.

The jerks in charge of generating electricity are incompetent at best and incompetent thieving bastards - the majority - at worst...
