You probably just need to think 10 - 20 years ahead..
Take your mind back to 1998 ,( if you are old enough ) , I remember thinking " How can just a search engine ( free ) possibly make money? " - many thought this. AI will be involved in crime just as they are for " good " .

Follow the money. The AI has no use for money but someone paid for the robotics, the factory and the AI and someone will want a return on his investment. That’s the person you arrest.
The money is run by AI , in this example.
I guess if the AI can open up hundreds of bank accounts, shuffle the money around the world it could be very hard to track but still not impossible. AI has no use for money so there will be a human somewhere trying to collect these funds.
It is an interesting theoretical problem.
Maybe what we need is an AI cop to track down this AI drug kingpin. đŸ˜‰

I use chat GPT to help with complex software for automation (my main job). It’s wonderful, useful and sometimes it will out right lie to you if it can’t answer the inquiry. It’s already more human then we think lol

I watched a Tik Tok the other day , Chinese factory , you must have seen what they are doing with this stuff?

I'm just a software engineer, not a guru... I work with an AI, and my experiences are different than all that stuff in the internet... but my knowledge is limited to Language Models
Its a real factory , I checked it out after the Tik Tok , that just drew my attention to it , I dont even use TT , because of its ownership base.
It means that those who programmed them will be prosecuted and those AI will be confiscated… to work for them obviously
But , you gotta find both.. this will not be easy in the future.
what if you hack into them? you know that when you hack into a computer you will know everything about it including its location just by simply finding its MAC id. I'm pretty sure these AI robots will have something within that nature in them that will make their geography vulnerable
Going to need all of that I reckon and more , these guys have a plethora of $$$$$ and they will have all the very best ways round things , including self destruction of the robot itself , will be interesting. cyber crime ( not just as we know it today ) will be everywhere.
