How many differences can you think of between computer memory ram vs, the memory hard disk or ssd? function purpose or any differences?

RAM Is short term memory. Its like making a shopping list. Once your shopping is done the list is discarded as its no longer needed.

On a computer an example is when you're editing a word document and it saves every input you did so you can utilize the "undo" funtion. Once your doccument is finished and saved it no longer needs to know your input history.

Hard drive is long term/permanant memory. Things like an owners manual. Something you'll need to remember for a long time.

A computer example is your paystubs you downloaded to keep on file just in case you need to look back at them.
