I’m an online stalker and I can’t stop?

Since around 06 when high speed internet really started to make it easier to browse the web when I’m bored I use it for other reasons. I was 11 on 06 and I first used it to look up my teachers phone numbers to prank call because white pages was just like the book back then. Fast forward to 2024 I’m almost 30 and I use it to look up old women I used to talk too or date. I want to make it clear I have never used it to pop up on people and stalk them in person nor do I reach out to them. But I’ve looked people up just to see what they are up too in their life and I don’t understand why I do it. It started as a way that I would prank call teachers and it has ended up with me looking up people when I’m bored. Is this something normal that people do or is it abnormal
