Could you live without the internet?

I do not mean living in the woods in a log cabin away from society. I mean no home internet/Wi-Fi. You still have a cell phone, but you only use it as a tool, no social media or anything like that. You only use the Internet at work or in the library, etc.

The internet is more of a curse than anything else. If it was up to me, I would forbid the internet and return to the times where people actually communicated with each other with words, on a face-to-face basis; the days where people wrote letters, you know, those pieces of paper and a pen or pencil and that took it to the post office (the place where snail mail is being distributed) and then you waited for a few days to get that mail.

Yes, If I could have it my way, internet would not exist. Kids would be outside playing with each other rather than to be stuck behind a monitor and gaining weight. Children would have no social media where they would be getting sick because one of their followers decided to unfollow them.

Internet is the gangrene of the 21st. century.

I think it would be hard at first because we have gotten so used to the internet being apart of our daily lives, but I would eventually just go back to reading books and writing more like I did when I didn't have the internet.

I did live without the internet when I was a kid. I think I first got on the internet back in 1991 with a 14.4 kbps modem. The internet was much different than it is today. That said I had a PC at home since I was a little kid, even if it did take like 30 minutes to load a floppy disk into memory.

Yes. I go off grid for two months of vacation each year.
