Nobody needs speeds like that, so it doesn't matter. Even 1G is far more than needed for most people and even most businesses. Those high speeds are marketing BS.

Dont particularly care. 10G is not like 5G. Where as 5G is a wireless standard, 10G is just a speed of broadband. If you can purchase 10 gigabit internet connection then you already have 10G internet. While having a 10 gigabit as standard is nice, kind of like having modern roads connect your cities, its nothing new. There are internet providers all around the world that can offer you much more than that by orders of magnitude.

Its pretty much just marketing bullshit.

Going from basically shitty to no internet infrastructure to a 10 gigabit standard is significant and will have an economic boost, especially considering the size of the country and the number of people. Its not however world shattering. For the record, I think USA has an average of 0.2 but can regularly get between 2 and 5 unless you live truly rural.
