Do You Update Your Mobile Software Regularly?

Do you update the software on your mobile and the Apps? I've just updated my mobile and it took 2 hours. When the phone was updated I needed to spend a few minutes getting to my mobile. My mobile was amazing before, now it can do even more things I probably won't have time to learn how to use. What's your opinion, and do you update the Apps every day?

i updated then they said i lost my minutes and needed to buy a plan or the phone wouldn't work

I've a very small mobile that folds up, and I put it in my shirt pocket if I don’t want to carry my much larger mobile. But I didn't use it for perhaps 6 months and I lost the minutes. I kept my mobile number by giving the sim number to the mobile company.

My apps are set to update automatically unless on low power mode. They typically if not always do when I’m taking a break from my devices.

I can do the same on my mobile, but I like to see what I'm updating.

LOL, useful apps- update them. otherwise "sleep" them or uninstall.

The ones I don't use come with the mobile and I can't delete, but my phone automatically sends them to sleep.

My iphone updates automatically.. It's a great convenience.

My Samsung can update automatically, but I like to be in charge of when my mobile updates.

Yes I do because if I don't I compromise the health and functioning of my devices.

I do too, and they say before updating you should have a full battery. I lost 20% in this last update though I kept it on the whole time it was updating.

No I only update when it can't be avoided

Most of my Apps on my mobile I don't use, so it's pointless updating them. The ones I do use I'm told to update when I'm using them. So I don't need to update them nearly every day.

I usually do the same, but I've been waiting for the recent one because it's Samsung's OneUI 7 based on the Android 15, and it was expected to make big improvements to the mobile. But apparently One UI 8 Android 16 will be released this summer.
