Lately, my Casio CA 100 keyboard has an issue. Every time I play the base notes, there is a rattling sound. What do you think the issue could be?

While the mid-range and upper part of the keyboard sounds completely normal and seems to be in working order. I changed the batteries, and it did not fix the problem. Therefore, I am asking for your advice.

Loose speakers are by far the most common cause of rattling, especially with bass frequencies. Also, the plastic components can become brittle or mounting points can break. Casio's are renown for that issue.

I'm not very musical but at least you're producing the rattle in 'shake, rattle and roll' which can't be too bad. I told you I wasn't musical, but I look on the bright side of life.

Have you tried playing the bass notes, instead?
