Follow me here. This came to me in a dream. The movies and TV often seem to take time travel into ethics and improbabilities. What if we could use it safely and productively? Imagine you subscribe to a service that comes to you when you need work done. You hand them a deposit. Then they travel into the future when all of the necessary materials are available and affordable. Next they return to the present to complete the repairs. You approve the work and hand write a message to yourself or use some other private code to verify that you approved. They then travel back in time to deliver the repaired equipment before it even breaks down. You get to see the coded message to confirm that you ordered the work. Then you pay and you never lost a minute of up time! I need to call Elon! Ell oh ell!
Would you subscribe to a maintenance service that uses time travel to keep you on 100% up time?

It's a little bit complicated, but I think I would definitely be interested in talking to somebody about it. Certainly about the time travel aspect of it.

I’m also curious to know if people conceive of ethical dilemmas regarding the very use of time travel. Kinda like the stem cell controversy. It can be beneficial, but it can also be gross.
Nothing. I sometimes have vivid dreams and often remember them. Usually i can pin a theme to something that i was doing, reading or watching. This time it was very random. Especially given the details i could recall.

I think it would depend on the price. There are a lot of “warranty” programs out there that i have turned down regardless of price.
