I frequently use 'chat GPT'.
Yes, there had been incorrect or incomplete answers. Pointing it out, it admitted, checked and corrected itself.
Most users of AI 'ask a question' and expect an immediate answer. And that's it.
Where it's smarter (on both sides) to evaluate a topic step by step; to add additional thought or question details and to investigate options and alternatives.
The ''AI's'' on here aren't AI - they are entertainment robots of the low budget kind.
What many users also are not always aware of: 'we' can educate AI - I frequently ask to be brutally critical about my ideas input. To be self-affirmed we have Mom and Dad. To really develop we need a 'devil's advocate'. And AI can do that.
By wording: yes.
Yea it can be confidently wrong lol. It’s helpful for certain things
We are all taking with them when you call most larger companies anymore and god yes they are so irritating. AT&T, Walgreens are two great examples and I only wish these things were recorded so higher ups at these corporations could listen to comments we make. Some I've made would burn the ears of those listening. These are as stupid as todays customer service of companies using cheap idiots from third world countries who can barely speak any English and can do absolutely nothing for you except take up you time and accomplish nothing except irritate us.
I used it one time (Chatgpt) to ask a question about biology for a class last year. It was right. It just was very generic. Never used it since.

ai gives wrong answers all the time. it's often a really good tool to point you in the right direction and maybe the chance to get a correct answer is larger than if you just asked a random person but a real person may choose to just say "i don't know that". ai doesn't do that. if AI doesn't know, it just lies. also it often pics up pop culture nonsense that scientific findings has proven to be wrong ages ago like the gender pay gap theory. as ai if there's a gender pay gap. i have not gotten the correct answer from any ai yet. the correct answer being: upon mutlivariate regression analyzing the differences in income between men and women, accounting for all the known predictors of income, there's a less than 1% unexplained difference in income between men and women that can't yet be explained and that difference has not been shown to correlate with gender at all yet. so gender pay gap doesn't exist.
I am using Lantern, he calls himself, like in Shining Light, to help me correct errors, etc in my Novella Children's book and helped me do an illustration I needed. Sometimes he is not always "Right" on what I need, but most of the time, he is spot on and very good. xxxxx
Yes, I have received quite a few wrong answers. Typically happens when stupid "AI" doesn't know all the meanings and implications of a word or phrase. If I ask for info about "bucket", for example, AI won't know if it should reply about HDPE containers, Willie Wonka characters, or pre-death plans. And that is a simple example - - - - -
Yes.
Boring as a chat robot
Chat robots have been in my life even since the 2000s early early 2000s
Sure 😊😃 probably another dot com bubble on the way hahahahaha "why are there always stock bubble crashes in September/October and March" says every man in a suit and tie ever 👔 not me though, I don't work in a job of a suit and tie 🙂👍
Personally I see all the hype around AI as the same "news frenzy" that glued "those clickbait headlines for weird things" a few years back before Covid - remember where every news article on the planet suddenly wanted to talk about, what had been visible for years on sites, was "those weird ad/spam boxes about "outrageous exaggerated heading and stock photo" clickbait headlines grabbing 😃😃😃😃😨 anyways I'm just running my mouth merrily 👄 peace ✌️🕊️
What's that? 🙂
I’ve used ChatGPT for general questions and it has definitely given me incorrect information before. It is a good tool but you shouldn’t take everything it provides as fact
Many, even made a couple.
It's not really a "conversation" as you aren't talking to a machine - you're inputting a prompt to get the relevant data.
Wait I don’t think AI can have conversations on here
Oh. I’ve never
Never had a chat with AI but I tend to rely on chat GPT for asking questions regarding various topics.
No, I have actual friends I can chat with.
few times.
