Do you still post photos of yourself online, and if so why?

Take instagram for an example. People on that site take selfies like crazy. But what is the point? Once you know what someone looks like, why do we need thousands of that?

When I was on dating sites, I felt that I needed to take a picture of myself. That way people knew what I looked like. Later on on social networking sites, I would try to be creative with my photos. But once I realized that doing this wasn't helping me make and keep friends. And I realized the dangers that could come with me doing this. I stopped. Now the only people who get to see what I look like are those that prove themselves to be kind to me, and talk to me.

Yes, often for the benefit of friends and family that keep asking, that have you been doing. Also sometimes to support the profile of places you’ve been to, like restaurants, we’ve got to help each other other out
