Not really. I’m glad I grew up in a time where it was “new” and teaching kids to be safe online was a priority for any website that catered to children. And yeah, the idea of living in a time without it sounds appealing to a certain degree as people just went out and did more things more often without the convenience of the internet but the internet hasn’t taken that away, it’s still present and people still do it, it’s just that newer generations have become so convinced of its convenience and how it caters to a more introvert lifestyle that they enjoy the ease more than the work, which is a valid way to exist no matter how much others might disagree with it.
Definitely, of course like anyone with a little common sense would want to get rid of that gangrene.
Imagine children playing outside inside of staying for hours behind a screen. Imagine students having to think with their brains rather than to look on the internet for an answer. Imagine people talking with each other on a face-to-face basis rather than to do it over social media.
If I could, I definitely would abolish the internet and ensure that it would never exist or be invented.
Our parents and grandparents lived much better without the internet. Why can't we do the same and live healthier?
No but they were a lot of other things to do in the mid 1990s we had Ethernet I believe it was called 🤔. took like 15 minutes to download a pic, made a horrible noise. I think life was interesting back then in 2010 I still had a flip phone I didn't even knew androids existed.
I wish it had existed when I was a teen. I was a bright and lonely kid stuck in a small blue collar town.

I have no problem with internet but I wish social media was never invented. Social media is bad for the mental health. I know Girlsaskguys in a way can be considered a social media website but on this website you aren’t expected to do things like use your real name and post pictures of yourself and your life.
On many other social media websites you are expected to do things like use your real name, post pictures of yourself and life.
It makes people feel bad when they see pictures of other people more physically attractive than themself and living a happier life.
Also online bullying is a big problem. A lot of people who write mean things online usually lack the courage to say it offline. These are call keyboard warriors.
The internet has both good and bad points, it's sped up news and communication, given access to all for information about just about anything but can also be used for illegal and immoral reasons. It's also made the world a smaller place by making so much accessable
Yes and no, but more so yes. The internet definitely has its downsides but for the most part I can appreciate being exposed to things that I probably wouldn’t have learned or known about had I expected to come across it all in my day to day life.
I'm in my mid 50s, so I did live quite a while before Al Gore invented the Internet. /s.
I also choose to live without a cell-phone, so the Internet is not that prevalent in my life.
No, the internet is profitable for those who use it wisely. But sure, it's also a great option for the doom-scrollers on Instagram and tiktok.
I did live before the internet. Even though there are a lot of problems with it, it is a great tool and there are a lot of things that make life easier is because of the internet.
Absolutely. A life without cellphones would be even better.
I did... no information! Now things are much easier.
I did for the first 18 years (at least with regard to the WWW part of the internet).
Nah, it's easier to see who is weak/stupid and avoid them
I have lived in a time where the internet didn't exists hehe
Tbh i like both eras!
Yes. People were more fit as well when Internet and vehicles were not a thing.
Nice theory! Walking... but same time, before, had polio and lack of antibiotics people died at a greater rate and got sick.
Nope.
