We're you affected by any INTERNET OUTAGES in 2025?

2025 showed many of us that the Internet is not as stable and reliable as we thought. We also learned just how much we depend on the Internet.

There were several major Internet outages in 2025, as shown in the bar graph.

Did any of these outages affect you? What did you do?

None due to the internet, several due to weather and power outages. After the last hurricane it took almost a month before we had power and internet operational. Wish the restaurant had been as well, we were almost 4 months getting back open.

We have internet outages all the time since we live in an area where it's not uncommon to lose power.

And it affects me by realizing I have an internet addiction so then I go outside or read a book or something.

The only one of those apps that I routinely use is YT, and I don't recall it not being available at any time during the year. I'm sure it happened but it just didn't leave a lasting impression.

Reddit quit working for me for about a day, twice. I discovered G@G because of it

and if they affected something I use... I didn't notice or I wasn't online at the moment

Yes, I use an online appliction at work and it was down for almost a whole day, It was not a big deal., It's not like I couldn;t get on GaG/

Not any of these big ones, but sometimes my line will drop if I am on too long- like 5-6 hours at a time.

My internet went down, but that is because a deer broke the phone wire to my house.

Nothing major. Internet in the UK is pretty reliable.
