How high is the likelihood of Kepler-452b being inhabited by intelligent lifeforms?

The ex-planet, which is larger then earth, is located within the "goldilox zone" of its star, meaning conditions are just right for life to survive. With an earth similarity index of 0.88, it is too date the most earthlike planet yet to be discovered, comprised of oceans and rocky terrain. The planet is also around 1.5 BILLION years older then earth, so statistically, it should be home to lifeforms that are FAR more advanced than us. However, scientists did scan for any potential radio signals coming from the planet and have yet to find anything, which leads to the speculation that either there is no life on the planet (doesn't mean there never was), or if there IS life, it's not as advanced as earth.

I wouldn't say that the extra 1.5 billion years "should" mean more time for life forms to develop. The development of life forms isn't just about time, it requires a perfect alignment of many factors and lot of coincidences. Also being older could mean the planet has already passed its "peak life" phase and may now be too hot, too dry, or geologically dead for life to develop. It's impossible to answer your question, so I'll just say maybe it exists, maybe it doesn't - 50/50. Its the most reliable statistic I know, just like when I play the lottery.🤣

That same thought crossed my mind too. That it's possible there MAY have been intelligent life on it, but for whatever reason, it went extinct. Either environmental factors or nuclear war.

Kepler-452b is 1400 light-years from Earth. Think of the technology we humans had 1400 years ago. Any radio signals from Kepler-452b would be 1400 years old. That we haven't detected any means nothing. There may be intelligent life there.

Probability, the vastness of space, and the number of planets that could sustain life implies that somewhere out there is intelligent life, maybe like us, maybe completely different. The problem is, unless someone invents faster-than-light travel (Warp Drive, is there a Zefram Cochrane out there?)), we humans will never get to meet them.

It's also a Star Trek theme, what if extra-solar intelligence went through technological progress that we can't comprehend, it's far-fetched but what if tech as we know it was not universal, in the sense of specific to us in the universe?

Hypothetically evnen if we have 15 million intelligent civilizations in our galaxy and our galaxy has more stars than all sand grains on earth, around 200-400 billions.
It makes one intelligent civilization around 26 thousands stars. Even if only 1% of those 26 thousand stars have planets in habitable zone, intelligent civilization occur on 1 of 260 planets in habitable zone.

It is impossible to explain how life could start. If even scientists cannot create life, the probability that non-intelligent non-life could create life is zero. A zero probability is not the same as impossible.
