I never put TikTok on my phone because I don't trust the Chinese people with my personal information. After giving us COVID and Fentanyl they proved to me that they aren't trustworthy. However, I did have the TEMU and Air Express app on my phone and have made purchases with them. I don't see anything that says cache so I can't delete the cache information. But I did delete the 2 apps but they already have my information.🤷🏼‍♀️

But , I don't doubt any of it , when you understand how China works , having worked for the Chinese on 4 occasions ( in Australia ) they carry over some bullshit ideas , fingerprint log ins and log outs

Temu is fine and you can turn it off until you want to use it, TikTok is not owned by the Chinese anymore , I don’t have any of those other apps and I don’t have an android phone anyway so it’s probably safe having an Apple phone but who really knows for sure these days

Most apps run in background mode and need to be deactivated manually. Why isn't google capable to implement background services off by default option. Every 1,2 megabyte calculator app needs a permanent running update service nowadays. Those Chinese shop apps are especially annoying and permanently switch background services on, once one time manually started.

Somehow I managed to deactivate all those app background services and my Samsung runs now 4-5 days with one charge

Not even 10 seconds into the video, and I stopped watching, AI videos are an automatic no watch for me, unless it's advertised as AI and is only meant as entertainment such as those videos that use AI to bring cartoon characters to life. I'm pretty good a knowing which apps to use and not use, and if not I read reviews before installing. If I'm going to watch tech videos it's it going to be from non AI sources like LTT and GamersNexus.
