What version of Microsoft Windows are you currently using?

My laptop and desktop both have Windows 11.

I was given a computer a long time ago, and it was operating with Microsoft XP.

I didn't use it on the Internet, but it was still very useful.

Unfortunately the screen developed a fault, so that was the end of my computer, because my mobile satisfies all my needs, and I can't justify buying a new computer.

You can probably get another screen for cents on the dollar if you can switch the parts yourself.

I took the whole computer to a shop to be repaired because it had sentimental value, but it wasn't worth repairing because of it's age, and they couldn't replace the screen, so I recycled the computer.

These shops just look what they can order in their official spare parts system. You could search on eBay with the screen part number and would have found it 99.95%.

That's interesting, I do like to repair everything myself if I can, and I use the Internet for parts I cannot find in the shops.

I will remember that for the next time 🙂

I'm still on 10. I think my laptop is apparently too old to upgrade to 11. Still works though...

How old? Windows 11 can be installed on unsupported hardware. Didn't bother with my old laptop, just switched it over to Linux.
