Why do so many people keep such cluttered, folder-heavy home screens?

I think the home screen should be for essential apps and maybe 1 or 2 apps for entertainment purposes. How many times do you use those apps in the folders? Why do you need multiple folders on the first screen. The folders make the screen look cluttered.

There is no right or wrong though is there it’s just personal preference or maybe a lack of understanding on what’s possible or just IDGAF

Not sure I know people like that I have Roblox only I don't even have a wallpaper on my devices.

Why does it matter to you? You like it one way, other people like it another way. That's why it's customizable.
