Why do Chrome and Firefox updates so often happen on the same day?

I use both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers.

I notice that when one does a software update the other does an update on the same day, or maybe one day later.

Since they are maintained by separate organizations, I wonder why their updates seem to be so perfectly synchronized.

Does anyone know why that is?

Maybe someone who works in IT?

probably because, both of them have "quick release" protocols after the same vulnerabilities are discovered/affecting both browsers...

so maybe, what you notice are probably patches... rather than major updates,

I rarely use Firefox, and I wouldn't use Chrome if you paid me.

I notice that happening a lot with Chrome and Firefox that's one reason why I use Opera browser it offers more privacy least for me.
