So my boss and I have this weird unspoken energy. It's hard to put into words. Anyway, we avoid each other as much as we can during our shift. And it's just such an awkwardness going on. Anyway, I've been situating myself in a way where he can't see me during the time I am working. So lately, he has been scheduling me only 1 to 2 days a week, on the days he is off. The most he allows is one day that we are both working. At first, I didn't notice this change. So everyone else, except for me, shares the work schedule that he has for himself.

Uhh, that does seem kinda sketchy. I don't think it's just a coincidence that he's always scheduling you for when he's not there. Sounds like he's tryna avoid being around you as much too.

Could be a few things going on:

- Maybe he's into you or something and it makes things awkward, so he's distancing himself on the schedule.

- Or you could've pissed him off somehow and now he doesn't wanna deal with you.

- Could also be he's hiding something shady at work and doesn't want you seeing it.

I'd be careful either way. Might be worth asking around subtle-like if anyone else has noticed the strange scheduling. Or if things stay weird, maybe start looking for a new job just in case. No point stressing over some boss drama.

Just watch your back there so he can't try anything sneaky. Keep your distance from him too when you are working together. Hopefully it's not something worse, but I'd keep my guard up for sure.

No no.
Almost everyone, other than myself, shares more days with him. I now, recently, am the only one who shares the least days. He has made it so that we only cross paths once or twice a week.

It's interesting because my coworkers are now wondering the same thing. I would say to a coworker as I am leaving work, " I won't see you again until such and such." And they would be shocked that I suddenly have so many days until I work again. And it's been a month now, and the schedule is the same - it's like a jigsaw puzzle. He works, I don't. I work, he doesn't. And one coworker said today that my schedule is weird. Even after I told him a few months ago what my availability is. Either way, the awkwardness between he and I has been reduced since the new schedule. So there's that.

No. Just a weird awkward vibe between us since I started several months ago.
