I wouldn’t t say addicted , but I do use it on a regular basis , mainly for work and some leisure , I try not to let my phone take over my life that much , especially when I am spending time with friends’ or family , I tend to put my phone down as much as possible because I feel it is disrespectful to constantly be on your phone when you have company over or when on a date. A lot of times I will put my phone on silence so it doesn’t interfere with whatever I am doing , and just check it periodically in case I miss something important. I do think life was better when we didn’t have these phones glued to our hips , but sadly it seems technology is taking over our society , and it’s just going to get worse , and people will become even more lazier and social interactions in person , will be out the door pretty much seems a lot of people live behind their computer and phone screens over anything else.
Yeah definitely seems to be the case for me. I feel bored if I don't take it to the washroom when I'm taking a shit. I get distracted from work pretty easily and find myself doom scrolling on social media all the time. First thing I do in the morning is grab my phone and start doom scrolling too. When your life isn't where you want it to be, phones are kind of a temporary escape
Yes I am addicted..
I can survive without it, but I will need time to learn..
Smartphone is a Set of Tools all in one... So it's important I will need a alarm clock a camera, a Watch, music player , Laptop and substitute to all services I get from smartphone
The phone makers seem to make it easy to get addicted to, don't they?
It's Not Addiction but, a Utility intensive Tool!.
Addiction is of reels of Instagram or Internet or of YouTube shorts..
Smartphone isn't an addiction.. phone maker don't make addiction tool.. but a useful tool..
But these software and YouTube and Instagram algorithm are Addictive softwares..
@nodecision Since I got my own phone, I take it with me everywhere, except when I’m Dancing on Stage or if I’m at a restaurant with my friends. At the restaurant we take our phones out and put them on the table with the sound turned off. It’s a courtesy not to be on your phone when you’re with your friends.
Whenever I leave to go somewhere, my phone always stays home.
But since we have to use our cellphone to do almost everything with. I only use it because I have to in order for my life to adhere to the standard that has been set.
No but I AM addicted to my laptop. I'm doing it now, which I hadn't intended. Opening up the laptop is just muscle memory at this point.
Put a time lock on the lid so you can only open it at certain times of the day. That should curb it's use.
A lot of free time can make anyone addicted to phones
Sometimes, but not when I’m busy doing something else
I probably left my phone on my back when I went home during my break just to get it. It was a 40-minute ride—20 minutes each way.
No, absolutely not.
Yea and even if I wasn't I'd need it
Isn't everyone?
No, because they have to share it with being on line here, Tik Tok, and who knows where else. Some they can do on their computers,
I do this on my laptop
No I actually hate the small screen
