First internet exposure was a PC running windows 95 on a dial up modem. We take for granted now the speed at which you can grab huge amounts of data. At that time it might take 45 minutes or so to download a 60 second video... this is a different world
I'd say about 26. I grew up in a world without the internet so i had no use for it when it first started gaining in popularity. And i waited until after 2000 to buy my first conputer (ya know, just in case that whole Y2K thing became a thing).😆
Parents installed wifi in 2008.
I had an old windows 7 with a plasma screen and I typed “red car” to see if it works.
And was over the moon when I saw a red car on my screen.
If only I knew I was giving up a “simple life” forever.
Sometimes in the 80s. Me and my buddies were downloading and uploading a lot of software/games from mailboxes. Things, especially speeds, were quite different back then!
I dunno, I was probably 10 or 11 and looking for something for school.
I think I was about 15 or 16 and it was Yahoo Answers which was funny enough similar to this site if you've ever been on it.
I guess in my mid 20's, and I probably read most of it. It was the early 1990s, there wasn't that much.
Using gopher. The web hadn't been invented yet.
I was about 23 years old, and I was mostly researching video games, music, and movies/tv series that I like.
about 13 or 14 in the late 90s. i remember looking up cheat codes for a PlayStation 1 game on america online with dial up internet. lol those were the days
I think I first discovered it when I was about 18 or 20 and it was bulletin board system where people were talking about video games and I was fascinated.
I don't remeber not knowing it or using it in some way.
40 & I don't remember. At 46 I discovered YouTube and went nuts!
It was 1998. I had just turned 9.
15 and something for school
40, poker sites.
Early twenties. Before the web.
Age of 10-11 and search the 'hot nude girls'
