I still got bad vibes from them despite the conversation being respectful
I just felt like the conversation was over and i couldn't add anything else valuable to it
I felt like the person i was talking to was boring/uninteresting
I felt I was actually boring them and got too self conscious to keep talking to them
A friend or someone told me something about them and made me feel uncomfortable continuing the discussion with them
I felt like either I or they were starting to like me romantically and felt we should no longer continue talking because of that
None of these reasons were why i would stp talking to someone suddenly. Being busy and/or falling asleep were my only reasons.

Yes i usually take that as a sign they are not interested in talking to me
It depends on other things but this could be partly a sign along with other signs

Yes frequent one or two word replies mean they don't want to talk anymore
No it doesn't always mean that, there are other ways to tell if they don't want to talk to you (say what)

Sometimes I prefer old technology like a basic cellphone but nowadays to keep up you must have the latest. I also did my first computer course with windows 3.1,98 but sometimes windows 10 can be buggy.
