Do I have to change out of my winter clothes in the Sydney airport, or can I wait until the hotel?

Here is my usual three layer outfit, (it's FREEZING here). Obviously I can carry my coat, so the question is about my normal clothes. Thanks!

Last time we went it was about Christmas time, temp was about 40 c. But it is cooling down now , but still hot. I think you can ditch the winter clothes. It will be shorts and tee shirts..
