No.
The US does, but other countries generally no longer do. You will be asked to take off heavy boots, for example, but regular shoes are fine.
It's (yet another) example of the theatre of security, and it's really past time it was retired. It doesn't make anybody safer.
Yes I totally agree
They do in the USA. But in Israel and Greece (only other places I've flown to), they had nothing like that. When leaving Israel, they do have a security person interview you for 15-20 minutes tho
That sounds quite intense but
Oh they try to make you feel relaxed and time depends on you as a person. In my experience, they were always kind and polite.
Thats good then
I only had this when I went to the USA
Yes thought it may be different in other countries but wasn't sure
Yes thought that may be the case though wasn't sure
Yes it’s the law
Thanks, yeh knew it was a law in some countrys just wasn't sure if it was the same in other places too.

It depends what country you're in, but for the most part, this seems to be an American thing. American people are extremely paranoid
Definetly seems that way yes
The times I have flown, I didn't have to strip at all. They ran my bag through scanners and I had to walk through a metal detector, that's it.
All these measures American airports are taking are so over-the-top.
I agree
Every one I've been through since 2006 has
Same everywhere buy the sounds of it
The American ones, yes.
Terrorist have hidden box cutters in their boots.
Yeah everyone that I’ve been too does
Almost all depending on the country.
Certainly in my experience it seems to be that way
I've only encountered it in the USA.
Yeh thought it might be different in different countries
Happened to both me and my girlfriend yeh
The ones I have been to have
Not all airports
