I always wanted to grow up in Alaska, like Fairbanks or Anchorage. Far away from the inner 48 craziness, and all that beautiful nature. I don't mind cold weather; I hate heat and sweating, in fact.

But in the modern day and age, it'd probably be Georgia as I'm more of a "purple state" kind of person (voted for Obama twice and regretted it, and voted for Trump twice and didn't regret it). Atlanta seems to be the ideal kind of city for me, not to mention that burgeoning show biz industry down there. I've always wanted to be a writer and producer, but know how sh*tty Hollywood was. I first wanted to try to move to Vancouver or Toronto to work in television, but then it went woke around 2015.

If I couldn't live in Atlanta, I'd go to Texas or maybe Florida, which are also more reddish-purple states, given the proximity to medium sized cities. Although Florida would be a last choice. Hurricanes, plus trailer trash counties, like Tampa, Jacksonville, and Palatka, where every woman is a 5'10", 120 lb blonde on meth or cocaine. (I wonder if any non-blonde, non-Hispanic women even live in Florida. 😂)

But yeah, Georgia, Alaska, or Texas, primarily.

I'm from Pennsylvania - Philadelphia specifically - and it's literally the worst place I could think of, for anyone. And I spent 27 years of my 34 living there. Philadelphia, to those not from there, is basically like if Los Angeles and San Francisco was mixed with New York City and you turned it upside down and dumped all the positives out of it, and only the sh*ttiest parts of all three remained. The few upper-middle-class or middle class people who live there are fake, gauche, egotistical, "small name, big ego" far-extreme-left, SJW pieces of sh*t possible outside of California. And everyone else are ghetto trash pieces of sh*t that you'd think would be from Minneapolis. There's probably not a single good person living in Philadelphia, unless MAYBE they're an implant or there just for college or something. It truly is the darkest anus of America. I really wish I grew up in Alaska or Atlanta instead.

NC has really grown on me.
It's halfway between NY and FL.
A couple hours to the beach, 4 hours to the mountains. 5 hours to DC.
Far enough away from the beach to avoid hurricanes. We almost never get tornadoes here. Ice storms, maybe 1 every other year.
Wineries and breweries everywhere.
It does get hot though.
But my electric bill is around $130.
Decent airport just an hour away.
Not bad all around.

How are a Texas tornado and a Tennessee divorce alike?

I like Tennessee, and ready... You're the only ten I see! hehe... :) You left that one hanging over the plate.
Anyway, in no particular order, Montana, Wyoming, Las Vegas, Texas, Florida and anywhere in the Appalachians from Virginia going south or Maine. There is not a lot of continuity on the list, I like these places for very different reasons. And sure Las Vegas isn't a state, but it's the only place in Nevada I would want to live, unless I could get 4 million acres of wilderness with a power plant and water supply up in the northern part of the state.

Tennessee is a beautiful state and it could be a good destination for those of us who are farther south in the flatlands.

I am in northeast Florida and my family has been here since 1790. We don't move very often and, when we do, we don't move very fast or very far. I will live the rest of my life in my home state of Florida and will be quite content with that.

I like it right where I'm at and 4800 feet in the air I have mountains and trees all around me I have lakes and rivers all around me so that means completely either in the water or the dirt off-roading dirt bike riding score on the water parasailing fishing water skiing winter time have the snow for snow skiing off-roading 24-hour town all kinds of things to do

I've never been to the States, but I feel a longing to go to Colorado. I've got friends from Denver & Colorado Springs. The deep South would be too humid for me, although the people I've met from Tenessee and Louisiana have been among the best, most decent people I've met

I did drive (with friends) from Key West to Nellis Air Base, what a great drive…

definitely a way to see some different parts of the states.

Politics aside and just based on geography, I would live in California. Also Denver. Overall, I wouldn't mind living in New Mexico (I have family there and can make a good living- although it sucks economy wise), I thought about living in Tennessee. Have been looking at Murfreesboro, is that a decent place?

I live in Tennessee. I live in Washington County. East Tennessee is great if you don't like warm weather that much. June, July, August, and September are the warmest months. The rest of the year is chilly or freezing. We have Dollywood and good drinking water. I've always wanted to live in Florida because of the warm weather. The traffic is definitely worse in Florida. Almost 22 million people live in Florida. Tennessee has a population of less than 7 million. Florida is always full of tourists too. I don't like Florida's drinking water that much. Sometimes their water smells like sulfur. The water in Orlando is like that. The biggest problem with Tennessee is the lack of economic growth. There aren't many new businesses and restaurants in East Tennessee. I think the Nashville area would be the best place to live in Tennessee.
