Texas is a great place to live: it's a hardline red state with a great governor, no state income taxes, relatively high wages (when compared to the rest of the south), a low cost of living, and it has near zero gun control- nor is it likely to get any.

Despite those pluses, I can think of better places to vacation. Apologies to my friends in the Lone Star State.
