How many US states have you been to?

Open to anyone that lives in or has visited the USA.

You can list them if you want but I'm just interested in the number.

Considering I live in the UK I've visited 28 states, and i don't plan on stopping there.

My family (when young) drove from Rhode Island down to Texas and up to California, hitting tourist spots along the way. So… 13-14… maybe 15 states? Most memorable as I was recovering from chicken pox (which initially delayed the move) and my poor sister had it the entire two+ week road trip.
I’ve been wanting to ride up to Canada for a long time, things keep delaying the trip.

That’s a really cool picture. I’ve been to too many states to count. I would say about half of them.

Michigan - my home state. Virginia - my home since 1988. Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas and California.

Also, though not states, I have been - and in fact live in the Virginia suburbs of - Washington, DC. Also Puerto Rico.

Also, I've visited 38 countries, but I will spare you that list. Other than to add that ambition is to get to Hawaii - especially in the September to March timeframe. (Not a fan of Fall and Winter, suffice to say.)

I am from NYC and I hated everywhere besides (Manhattan, West Hollywood, and New Orleans). I’ve been to New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Nebraska, Colorado, Illinois, Missouri and California. I’ve been to DC, and some of the worst places in the USA I’ve been to Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands. I really dislike the Caribbean in general though. My favorite cities globally are NYC, London, Zurich, Hamburg, and Amsterdam.
