The new apartment I live in has this giant park and recreation center directly outside of it, but I'm not an outdoorsy person. What should I do?

So I've been living in this apartment complex for three weeks now, and while it has a TON of problems inside the tiny little apartment itself, it's directly overlooking a massive park. It has all these things in it, but I'm not an outdoorsy person and don't really care for it. But I think other people who like this kind of stuff might like it or think I'm "wasting" the opportunity. I dunno. I live here, so what do you think I should with this huge park outside?
