Is €75,000 a good salary where you live?

I'd consider that a very good salary here and I would presume it would put you in the 99 percentile.

Although houses have gone a bit mental here, and fuel and other costs are going up, you could still live very well on that salary, in my opinion.

Yes, to an extent. It depends on where you live. In my area, that is enough to own a simple single family home, or maybe a small house with maybe an acre or two of land if you're outside the city. But in some areas, you'll still be renting.

Yeah in CAD that is around $100,000 which is good money.

That would be $80,000 USD, which would be excellent money here in central Florida., but not so much in Miami.

Yeah, if I had 75K euros coming to me per year from investments, I'd be in REALLY good shape. It wouldn't fully cover my expenses, but I could just do a bit of a side hustle to make up the rest and I'd be good to go.
