I live in Canada, but have never been to Greece.
There's a lot to see and do in Canada. I'm more partial to the outdoor things, so highly recommend the West coast for beautiful mountains and ocean views. Vancouver is a great destination, though can be pricey.
Eastern Canada I haven't visited outside of Quebec, but the Atlantic provinces are likewise beautiful. If you enjoy seafood, look up their various festivals. If you speak French, visiting Vieux Quebec is very worthwhile.
If you have a chance, see if you can do some educational tourism to First Nations sites around the country, as well. Learning the history and culture of the land's original inhabitants is rewarding and beautiful, too, and it is increasingly important to recognize them. Many events in Canada will have Land Acknowledgements (paltry in the big picture, but still a good habit) to the the First Nations people on whose land the event is happening.
I'm a bit biased, but Canada is well-worth a visit. There's all sorts of things to do here.
I would definitely like to visit both.
Greece-I have a huge interest in the Greek mythology. All the Olympians and everything about it. About Greece. If I get the chance, then Greece is a definite place to visit.
I have heard that Canada has the best leaf fall (?). I don't know. But it really seems to be a really beautiful country, at least in photos.
👏🏾
Yes and yes.
Canada, three times.
Once on a "circle tour " of the US and southern edge of Canada, once with my folks to Niagara Falls (both sides), and once with my wife and kids (both sides).
Greece, once.
I went on a short-term mission trip to Athens a couple decades ago. Ate like proverbial pigs, but because we had to walk darn near everywhere, we lost weight! Maybe I should go bad and dump my COVID weight!
I have been to Canada, only Niagara though, I walked across the bridge from the US. I've also been to several places in Greece and Greek islands.
Incredible!!👏🏻
I was born and raised in Michigan, and as a teenager I would often go on long bike rides to Mackinaw City, and sometimes would find that the rode signs on some long rides would be listing distance in kilometers instead of miles. That is how I knew I was in Canada, more often than not.
Yeah been to Canada
to Goose Bay and also Cold Lake
Fabulous
Also near Halifax
Canada a few times, but most of the time it was not really legally. My grandpa would take us to brunch on the Canada side of Lake Erie. We never had our passports, but he did call the coast guard, so we went with government knowledge, but no record. The other time was at Niagra Falls, where we did do it legally with passports and everything.
Yes, several times. I grew up in Western New York State, and my family often went to Niagara Falls Ontario 2 or 3 times a year. I've also been to Toronto several times, as well as visits to Montreal, Quebec City and Calgary.
Live in Canada, been to Greece. Both truly amazing places
Neither. I would love to visit Greece some time though.
I live in Canada, it's good, but the weather is enough to drive you crazy sometimes.
I have not been to Canada or Greece (Canada is weird since I live in Washington state it’s literally about 150 miles north of me). I have been to Mexico France and Japan
No to none but would like to go to Canada or Greece
Yeah about 20 years. Ago. They all assumed because I was American I was rich. I don't know if I just visited a poor area of Canada or I'd that was normal Canadian behavior.
Canada 8 times
Greece only once
Are you a Greek-Canadian?
No. But I've been intimate with some Canadian girls.
GTFO
I was born and live in Canada so I guess that counts as having been there and I have travelled from coast to coast.
Canada yes, very pretty country, greece will be in August this year.
This will be our 3rd attempt to go on this trip.
lots of history there.
I've been to Canada, but only on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.
I've been to greece as a child many times, about 30 years ago
Not that I remember.
But I went to a supermarket the other day.
Counter question: have you ever lost a shoe, or been eating beef?
Yes, I've been to both countries, although not on the same trip!
