Why isn't Houston listed as one of the dangerous Cities to live in?

I don't know; it rally should be. Back in the late 90s and 2000s, when I used to want to be a city planner, there were five major cities in America that always came up as "The Worst:"
Detroit, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Houston, and Atlanta.
It was always known those five cities were complete sh*tholes and that no one should live there. And I'm from the third one listed. And over the years, whenever I check back up on the data, the only thing that's changed, since around like 2009, is that Atlanta cleaned itself up and fell off the list and St. Louis took its place. So now, the five worst major cities in America are:
Detroit, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Houston, and St. Louis.
Although you can add Memphis as number 6, and LA as number 7, due to all the free shoplifting you now get to do in California.
But yeah, Houston's always been a piece of sh*t, just like Philly where I'm from.
It depends how the cities are ranked. There's cost of crime, dangerous crimes per capita, deaths, etc. So far for 2022, Houston ranks #1 among LARGE cities for deaths caused by crime. It's ahead of New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles at the moment.
Most of Texas is a shit hole anyway. It would be great if they left the USA and became their own country.

According to the FBI reports for 2019, Houston is the 96th most dangerous city in the US. 25,000 violent crimes sounds like a lot, but among two million people, it's- well, still a lot, but it's one of the safer big cities out there.
I find it wrong I lived in Texas for 15 years and the times I went to Houston it was scary.
Perception isn't reality. Being locked in a room with a random stranger is a lot less dangerous that being locked in a room with Jackie Chan- but it sure doesn't FEEL that way.
Have you ever went to Houston before or lived in Houston?
I've visited, briefly.
Because it's obvi. They should have to list it. It's houston!😂
Exactly that's why I was like why isn't in the top 10.
I don’t have first hand knowledge about Houston but I do know about flint and Detroit which are pretty consistently some of the most dangerous cities to live in and I know it would take some fierce competition in order to compete with those two
It became that way over the last 10 years
Buy it's not top 10
I had friends that move up there and the stories they tell me it's crazy it should be listed as one of the top 10.
What's the name of the video channel
