Is it normal for Europeans to not travel to other European countries?

My aunt from Vietnam married a French man and has been living in France with him for 6 years now. The only European countries she's been to are France (of course), Germany, and Switzerland. As a non-European, I've been to more European countries than her (Italy, Germany, Belgium, England, etc.). Is it that Europeans dislike other Europeans, or that her husband just isn't into travelling? She does not have a driver's license (in Vietnam, she's used to driving motorbikes, rather than cars), so he has to be the one to drive her. Or they can just travel by plane or train.

Maybe. I know people in their 70s that have only left their state for funerals and family birthdays…and always like to be home in their own bed. People are quite interesting in their ways. The Europeans I played soccer with got around quite a bit. Tons of pictures for one like me who has never been to that continent 🤷🏻‍♂️

Would sooner say it's normal for people to go to the places where they NEED and CAN AFFORD to go.
Travel is not a high priority for many - especially if they don't have a lot of disposable income.

maybe traveling is just too expensive for him or he's personally just not that interested in it. it's defo not a general european thing

Usually they only go for the beaches. Europeans have no interest in historic sites
