We had a great deal of rain last week, in the mountains, it made things extremely green. Although things were quite green before the storms. It made everything extremely muddy as a result.
I do not personally mind the rain or the mud at all.
I stopped here and enjoyed the smell and the view for awhile. To me life is about the journey, not the destination. Far too many people get stuck on the destination and they miss out on the journey.
Farthest south I went, you can see the rain and it moved north towards us. I also stopped here to enjoy the view until the rain was up on us.
Sure looked creepy to me, but of course... that is exactly where I would be going next.
Eastern View towards the largest Reservoir in the area.
I do rather love the color yellow here, such a happy and uplifting color.
Farthest North I went, more storms heading our way.
Pretty white flowers, mixing with the trees.
I told her to move if she didn't want to be in the picture, guess she wanted to be in it.
It is amazing that I could even drive, when it was this muddy... sliding all over, no traction, drifting everywhere... kind of fun actually. Big chunks of mud being thrown in front of you.
Just don't get out and take a step, I sunk way down and had thick heavy mountain mud caked onto my shoes from this picture.
I love the rain and I could dance in it all day.
I now look to the sky, hoping for more, to wash away my tears for a new beginning.
I hope you liked these pictures from last week, as I reflect up on them as this is my favorite place of beauty in nature.
