Is there life outside of New York?

I'm from New York. I have been to many cities such as London, Paris, Los Angeles, Milan, Zurich, Tokyo, Sydney, but none of them are as beautiful as New York. I don't understand how people who don't live in New York are happy. What do you think about it?

I agree that NY is awesome. I also appreciate other places I've visited. There are probably many places throughout NY and even outside of NY that are also great but are more affordable than NYC. I'm kinda biased and still think NY is the best since I'm from that state too.

But NY is my favorite city in North America. Not enough to live there, probably, but it's a fascinating and invigorating place to visit.

Up-state NY along the border with Vermont is stunningly beautiful, as is Lake George and Lake Champlain.

All of that rural beauty compared to NYC; a progressive shithole which dominates the entire state.
