I think it's possible. There are examples of this in history. There are those who cross the desert on camels and horses, and sometimes even on foot. Can you cross the desert on a camel? Of course, food and beverage opportunities are limited. there may also be a risk of wild animals. like a desert lion, a rattlesnake.

I've never been on a camel that didn't have a car. I HAVE crossed the desert on a horse with no name! It felt GOOD to get out of the rain.

I don't remember. I was pretty young then. They claim they found me in the cabbage patch but grandma says I was left on their doorstep.

Cabbage field makes more sense. If they dropped you off at the door why would they just drop you off at the door? They would ring the bell and hand over it. Or are they superheroes? lol
