I've never been a fan of geography. If it ain't about casinos (prob 15+), beaches, or theme parks, i ain't about it. But yea my state had a lot of casinos, a nasty ass beach, and no theme parks

I don’t know how interesting or cool it is but I’m in New Hampshire and we have one of the highest pecked mountains on this side of the Mississippi. Anyways I think the cool part is some crazy goon climes up back in the mid 1800s and built one of the funnest hotels/mountain lodges in the country. They eventually gave it its own zip code and built a set of train tracks up to it so that mail could all be delivered up at the lodge. We often had presidents staying for a month or more just hidden away on top a mountain.
I am from Bursa, Turkey. Its where Ottoman empire was founded. It served as the capital city of Ottoman empire until the conquest of Istanbul in 1453

There's a plant that only exists in my country. It's called "Welwitschia Mirabilis".

We invented a lot of things including the ultrasound, the tank, football, the refrigerator, the pre-paid postage, the BlackBox on airplanes, lawn mowers with engines, smoke alarms, aspirin, the pacemaker, and penicillin.
My state is actually flatter than a pancake. But to be fair when a pancakes proportions are blown up to the size of the US then the entire country is flatter by comparison.

My state is Kansas and a fun fact about us in we once grew and produced so much wheat in one year that you could have given everyone on the planet 2 loads of bread.
I live in Kansas. What’s most interesting about it is we’re not Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, or Florida.
Texas is of course... the state with most horses in America (around 1 million) and also the most cows... lol
New York City has the cleanest tap water. That's the first thing that comes to mind.
My state has Philly (The best city). We got gang bangers and Amish. You can get -20 in the winter here, and 120 in the summer.
